The winery of the Massucco estate is located in Castagnito, in the Roero area, where excellent white and red wines are produced on the soft slopes traditionally known for wine culture.
As it happens in the best and most solid family tradition, the knowledge and love for our land has been passed on through generations, getting a new extraordinary impulse by the modern technologies.
The vineyards are grown with special care and deep-rooted love for the earth.
In the winery, proficient Armando and Celeste work together with enthusiastic and passionate Loris and Roberto to make sure that with respect, care and passion the wines express their best, following their natural curve and history.
Quality wines come also from the meticulous care in the vineyards, where they make green harvest and “integrated struggle” for quality’s sake.
The cultivation is made with deep respect for the environmental balance using natural anti-parasites such as copper and sulphur.
Such particular attention and the certification C.A.T.E.V. (polished wine) are the confirmation of total absence of chemical residues.
The total planted surface is 15 hectares of which the 40% produces white wines and the 60% red wines.
The wide range of estate wines includes the prestigious DOC and DOCG wines of the Roero and Alba regions.
Some of the red wines in excellent vintages are matured in barriques: in the silence and the shadow the wines prepare themselves to tell a new but at the same time ancient story once you open the bottle.
